Introducing the Power Sector Competitiveness Dashboard

Description

This webinar with speakers from Duke University’s Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability will cover the Power Sector Competitiveness Dashboard, a new tool available that assembles key metrics and state rankings on an array of policies and practices (fifteen indicators across ‘Consumer,’ ‘Structure,’ and ‘Regional Market’ categories) that influence how utilities, regulators, producers, and consumers interact – including multiple relevant to solar energy. The dashboard covers across a twelve-state region to enable peer-state benchmarking, including Virginia. Presenters will also cover regional renewables electricity mix data, an interactive simulator tool, and national power market concentration data (that includes DC, Maryland, and Virginia).
