Monday, January 5, 2026 (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM) (EST)

Description

Hosted by CHESSA, Advanced Energy United, and SEIA.

Join us for a virtual roundtable focused on the key affordability and reliability challenges shaping Maryland's energy landscape. Designed as a nonpartisan, informational forum for Maryland legislators and staff, this session will begin with brief opening presentations from energy policy experts before transitioning into an open dialogue with participants.

Presenters:

  • Robin Dutta, Executive Director, CHESSA
  • Molly Knoll, Senior Advisor, Align Energy Advisors

This roundtable will explore:

  • Current pressures on energy affordability and reliability
  • The role of renewable energy and storage in meeting future demand
  • Policy considerations and opportunities as Maryland plans for long-term energy needs

While the discussion is structured to prioritize dialogue with legislators and staff, CHESSA, SEIA and Advanced Energy United members are invited to attend. Members are welcome to listen in and, as time allows, may also be able to engage in the conversation. Their participation provides valuable perspective and helps strengthen the broader policy discussions shaping Maryland's energy future.
